FIREFLY TO BE REMADE BY FOX
Following on such wild successes of things that were cancelled after short runs, like Battlestar Galactica and...Okay, following the trend of remaking cancelled stuff like Cupid, V and The Human Target, comes the latest foray into televisionary resurrection. Fox has realized their mistake when they cancelled Firefly and they're remaking it. But they don't trust Joss Whedon as much as they say they do and he's kinda busy, so they apparently got Steven Bochco to take the reins and he's already gone ahead and cast Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Captain Mal Reynolds.
All this according to the Hollywood Reporter, which says--

April Fool's or not...this just isn't funny. It's sick is what it is.

It's only not funny because we all know Fox isn't bright enough to pull something like this.
Dude, don't do that to me. I was about to buy a ticket to LA and chain myself outside of Fox Studios in protest. I actually feel a little nauseous.

Initially...Joy, pure ecstatic joy followed by horror pure and really scary horror (and a little bit of nausea), then relief, then ANGER! WHY WOULD YOU DO SUCH A THING???!! Then laughter...pretty funny!
Knew it was "April Fools!" the second I saw it. Yjus, I got a chuckle. Lighten up folks. And it's good to dream about what if.....?
