DOLLHOUSE: NEXT THING YOU KNOW, LESTER FREAMON IS MAKING THE FURNITURE

Wherein we see what will surely be just the first in many posts that will dwell upon a TV show specifically devised to to make my brain go mushy from TV o.d.

At this point, my expectations of anything Joss Whedon does are high. Very high. And given that his new series, Dollhouse combines three of my favoritest ev-ar things (The Whedon, The Dushku, and espionage), those expectations are gonna be so high as to even make Joe Kittinger nervous. Yeah.

He's a bright guy, that Whedon. He knows this. He's clearly concerned about making sure he meets my expectations and for that reason, he's uberstaffing the show. He's got Tim Minear, Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain...so far. All graduates of the Joss Institute and all having risen to the showrunner level at some point, for some amount of time...maybe not a long time, but...

Their combined post-Whedon credits include Wonderfalls, The Shield, The Inside, and other stuff.

It's not the Avengers of writing staffs, but it's surely the Defenders.
