ONE PAGE
I issue a challenge to the other spec monkeys that read this.
It's simple enough. Any of you can do it.
Post one page from a script you wrote on your website.
Just one page. That's all. It won't compromise your security. No one will be able to rip off your whole script (which should at least be WGA registered anyway) from just one page. It can be old, it can be new. Use something original or pull a page from a TV spec, whatever you've got. You can even write a brand new one page of something just for the occasion.
In the screenwriting scribosphere, there's been lots of talk about writing, but we rarely get to see much of the writing in question. I have had the opportunity to swap scripts with a few people and I've found it to be very interesting. And there's still a couple out there I look forward to seeing after they rewrite or other. Let this one page be an example of what you do and how you do it. I've posted a pilot page from King Vs. Queen once before and this time I'm putting up a spec page.

Ooh, interesting challenge. I just may be persuaded.
How do you do the formatting so it looks like a script page? Or is that a pdf/image file?
(And that first deleted post is me, because I spelled something wrong. Heh.)
Just a .jpg. Screen shot and cropped.
One page posted - it took me ages to work out how to change a pdf into a jpeg on a mac - I've no idea how to do a screenshot - you have to click on the page in order to read it.
Most freakin' cool. And, iain, thanks for directing us to RRH's site.
Great idea, great challenge. Let's all do it! I'll get a page of my new script up on screenwriting life shortly.
And in addition to the screenshot/cropping method, there's a way to encode script pages that John August created and that I've used for awhile. Do a search on his site for the original post if you're interested. A little trickier, but seems to work well.
Thanks again for the challenge.
Mine's up!
Thanks for the challenge. Great idea! Looks like it's slowly spreading over the Scribosphere like a burning rash. The good kind.
Mine's up, too.

Just posted mine.

Done, be gentle.:)
cheers
Dave.
Page up! I hijacked John August's .screenbox CSS stuff to put my page in. (Actually, I hijacked Fun Joel's version.)
I didn't know about this challenge, but I've posted a fun script excerpt on my lil' blog, it's more than a page and I'm not real sure how to make it look like a script page.
You know, I put the CSS in my template, but couldn't get it to work...must be user error.
Oh, my page is up!
I'm in as well.
Please check it out and comment on it.

Okay, decided to join the fray. Posted the first page of my short film script Muscular Super Hero Guy.
i put mine up... but i can't do the CSS thing, so it's a somewhat blurry .jpg you can enlarge by clicking.
